Because it's Sunday, because I'm feeling lazy, and because I love this photo, I am re-posting here a Note that I wrote on Facebook (19 Jul 2008):
I was busy working (okay, Facebooking!) when Josh announced loudly beside me, "Mama, look --I'm an alligator!" Imagine my shock when I turned around and saw this green face grinning up at me. No wonder he was so quiet... I should've known!

That reminds me of this:

After this happened we gave him face paint crayons, with the condition that he has to ask if we are going anywhere that day before using them. It has worked out very well. :)

Reminds me of the time I was nursing my son and enjoying the fact that my daughter was quiet in the next room. I came out to find her face covered in Desitin and 2/3 of her bangs chopped off. She had no zoological explanation.
oH yes each one of my kids have done this at one point in tothoood!!!!CUTE!!!!
Hugs,leslie
Did you cry crocodile tears? Because I totally would have.
I'd be tearing-up... Oh, don't I just love your Josh!
Have a great week!
lol my youngest does this all the time. She has a mutant ability to find markers no matter where they are lol.
Just dropped in to welcome you (and your cute little alligator lol) to the SITStahood!
LOL! What did he use to get his face green? So adorable!
Thankfully, they were face crayons. I didn't have the heart to get mad. He looked so proud of himself, making himself into an "alligator." :)
hysterical...and scary at the same time (thinking about the days ahead of me where silence becomes ominous).
There is an award for you over at my blog but please don't feel obligated to accept or play along, it just means I enjoy reading your blog. :)
oh my goodness, thats great, sort of, you know what I mean!!
welcome to SITS
Whew! At least it was face crayons. He has artistic abilities!
My daughter got into the Vaseline while I was in the middle of interviewing a client at my home. She came out naked and shiny with Vaseline from head to toe. It took days to get it out of her hair. No matter how many times I washed it.
He's a cutie for sure!
Oh. My. Gosh. were the only words that escaped my lips as I saw this picture.
He did a fabulous job! lol
