Socks and Underwear

When Josh was around 2.5 years old, he went through a short phase of not wanting to get dressed / changed. As soon as we'd take off his clothes, he would sprint away. We used to have to chase after him just to put on various pieces of clothing on him. The socks were usually easy, because for some reason, he liked to help pull them on, but once on, he'd squirm and run off again.

Here he is, running away from our helper, who was trying to get him dressed to go out.

During those times, sometimes when the weather was warm enough, we'd just let him run around the house in only his underwear/diaper and socks, nothing else. Gotta pick my battles, man.

Here he is on one of those days. We actually used this photo to make a calendar for the grandparents two years ago.

Have a good weekend!

You have a helper - you suck. ;)

That's such a great calendar shot - he's posing and everything...just hope as he grows older he doesn't keep posing!

LOLOL - that's funny and adorable all at once! Seriously - though - the picture mid-run is great! You can pull those out later and go "do you see what you use to put me through?" Heehee

PS - I'm stealing your love comment thing on the side :D hope you don't mind - it's adorable! And I'd love to "encourage" people to leave me comments. LOL.

Thank you for your comment. Love that huggable body!
How is your daughter? Emma got into the princess stuff by age 2 but got very serious about it by age 3. This is when she became "a true princess" according to her.

Love that first picture...it's the look of "I'm FREE" as he runs away, too cute!

By the way, I tagged you in my last post, come play along if you want.

You're so right. We do have to pick out battles. And they're all alike. They just love running around naked.

Your boy is adorable.

Josh is so cute in his diaper/undies and black socks.

If he added a white button down shirt, he could do the tom cruise scene in risky business . His future girlfriends will love these adorable photos!

I think the yellow shoes my daughter had on are prob daisy duck, as the minnie shoes are often polka dotted. But the tag only says d*sney...

i have never tried the bubble tea, though many restaurants here serve it, but i love thai iced tea, which is probably also a speed train to obesity blvd!
your daughter looks great in the milk t shirt!

happy Mother's Day!
