I received an email from my mom telling me that my dad has a new name for Zoë: Adora, short for adorable. Yes, my dad can be corny sometimes. He would come home and would ask my mom if I have new pics of Adora up on my blog or if there is news about Adora. Rather sweet of him, don’t you think?
Anyway, I was telling Zoë that KungKung calls her “Adora, short for ‘adorable.’”
Zoë: Zoë like it, ‘dora. Zoë like it, ‘dorable.
And then she ran over to this huge tote where we keep all their balls and dug up her Dora (the Explorer) ball.

What a sweetie pie your Dad is too! Zoe is right! It's a wonderful nickname:) We have Dora here in France too. She speaks French (of course) and teaches the kids English instead of Spanish!
There can't be a more perfect name for her.

So very cute. My daughter name is Zoe as well and she has a favorite Dora ball, I bet she would like this story.
He's so cute! I love when grandparents give their grandkids nicknames like that! LOL! And I love that she thinks he's calling her Dora the Explorer!
She is so freaking cute! Grandparents should definitely lead the way in assigning the cute and corny names.....they have a special skill.
