One of the highlights of our visit last summer was our trip to the Krause Berry Farms. We had so much fun picking blueberries that we knew that we had to go back again this year. So we did.
This time we knew enough not to get too carried away and pick too much.
The kids each got their own bucket and as soon as the shuttle bus dropped us off at the fields, they immediately set to picking berries.
ZoĆ« showed more restraint this time. She didn’t eat the berries right off the bushes. She meticulously picked and dropped them in her bucket. It was only when she said her bucket was “heavy” that she helped herself to the berries already in her bucket.
We’ll do this again next year.

Looks like fun. We're planning to do that ourselves before summer ends. We have a ton of u-pick farms around here. That black & white & red raspberry pic is awesome!

Hee, that bucket sure looks heavy!
I love blueberry picking too! You don't have to bend over and they come off pretty easily. Not to mention how delicious they are!
