At a stop light, Chris and I were chatting about something when I noticed that the traffic light had turned green, so I said to Chris, “It’s green now; go.” Chris rolled his eyes and laughed, “It just turned green.”
From the backseat --
Josh: Daddy, you stop at a red light and go at a green light, right?
Chris: Yes, you do.
Josh: Then why didn’t you go when the light turned green?
I told you he’d make a fine lawyer.

YES! In the constant battle of mom side vs dad side, I'd say this was a little victory for Mom!
haha..definitely growing up to be a fine lawyer!
Haha, he is a smart one :)
Ah...I have a daughter like that! So exact...She looks through the windshield and as soon as the light turns green, starts stressing about why I'm not moving, no matter what is in front of me. A biker? A pedestrian? Nope. "Green means go"
Good job, Josh!
That's a priceless story. 'Schooled' by the budding young lawyer.
R is very vocal about when I should be stopping or going while driving. She also offers lots of encouragement when I do the right thing....motivational speaker, maybe?
Well, green does mean go!
It only gets worse as they get older...
He will make a great lawyer. And now I'm wondering what he'd say about a yellow light...
