Time to play around and try my hand at editing photos again...
This is the original photo we have to work with this week. Handsome boy. Just look at those eyes... It’s quite a good photo, methinks, just needs a bit of brightening.
So I adjusted. A bit here, a bit there. First I adjusted the saturation and the light fill with Picasa 3 to brighten it up a tad. I then toyed with soft focus and contrast and sharpened it until I got to this:

I like both - a lot. I think I prefer the first one though - love the light and the colour and am really enjoying the rounded corners look at the moment.

I like the second one better, although the other one is equally good. The sepia tone makes it feel so nostalgic (or whatever the word is). =)

I like the 2nd one best - with the look on his face and the softness around the edges - it makes him look so innocent.
Wow, I am just starting to teach myself to use photoshop and am impressed, I'm not very computer savvy. I like the third one the best. Trying to make silhouettes of the kids, if I can get them to sit still long enough to take a picture!

Fix it number 1...love the softness and the blue of the eyes. Although they are all fabulous! So...what editing software are you using?

I love the last one because it's brought in tighter and tilted a bit. Very cute!
