Fix-It Friday: Girl Child

It’s Friday again and it’s fix-it time! I wanted to play around with this photo. I tried cropping; I tried toying with black-and-white or sepia tones or soft focus, but because this photo is already so beautiful that there really is not much to be done to make it even better!

The original photo

Fix-It #1: Sharpened, warmified, brightened

No glow

Fix-It #2: From Fix-It #1, added glow

bright

Love it - and I know what you mean - too much mucking about and you risk losing that gorgeous red hair which some of us have to get out of a bottle!

I thought it was a cute picture and when you brightened it, it brought out the beauty even more.

#1 is beautiful! It looks so lovely - reminds me of the Waltons (which is a favorite of mine!)

Wow, they both came out great! I try to photoshop and it always comes out looking like it was. These are beautiful though.

Isn't amazing what we can do ourselves when just a short time ago it took professional photographers to touch-up photos. What a sweetheart your subject is. I favor photo#2.

You have yourself one fantastic weekend!!!

I love the #2 edited pic....it looks like the sun is shining directly on her and her face is so much clearer!!! You have such a talent for this!

BTW, I'm gonna attempt to make sushi today with my daughter!! I'm going to search for it right now on your blog! I hope it turns out as good as yours looked!! We're just doing CA rolls...easy, hopefully!
