Blogoversary Giveaway : Three Kinds of Pretty

My first year. My first giveaway. I am excited!

I had been contacted by a number of companies in the past, but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do giveaways and I felt that I was not ready, whatever ‘ready’ meant then.

Call it perfect timing or perhaps it’s just meant to be, but when the kind people at CSN Stores, specifically CSNBaby.com, contacted me and generously arranged for a giveaway to all my friends in the US and Canada, it felt right. As right as it feels when you know you’ve given an answer that satisfies the curiosity of your precocious children, without corrupting their innocence.

Believe me, it was not easy to choose just one item from their site. I had spent quite a few days browsing everything there. Yes, I even spent time looking at items that I currently am not in the market for –baby cribs, crib bedding, and crib sets. (Okay, now you know that I can still be persuaded to have another baby. How could I not at least dream of having another when friends left and right are expecting and I read posts from you who are waiting excitedly for new additions to your family? But I digress.) I especially loved browsing through their selection of wall art, rugs, lamps, toy boxes… *sigh*

Despite the many, many options, I kept going back to this --the CoCaLo Couture Delilah Picture Frame Three Piece Set :

Aren’t they pretty? I love the bit of retro-glam in these frames. They make me want to wear a neckerchief, a twin set with pearl buttons, and a full skirt that flounces as I walk. Even if you already have a collection of more traditional picture frames, I can easily picture these three displayed amidst the silver and dark wood frames. Quirky bric-a-brac that you somehow adore in spite of your own more mainstream tastes.
