Josh and Zoë both had a slight cold yesterday and stayed home from school. We decided to have some fun and make Christmas cards.
Yes, it was messy, but look at what we got!
We made snowmen cards. The children got to make the circles with the sponges. They got to ‘dot’ the snow. Josh got to add the eyes, the mouth, the buttons, and the stick arms.
We made Santa cards. Both of them had turns making handprints for Santa’s beard, used thumbs and pointers for the pompoms on Santa’s hat and also for his cheeks. We decided to use glitter glue for the borders.
Some lucky cousins and friends are going to receive these handmade cards.
Now I have to hunt for envelopes big enough for these cards.
Have a great weekend, everyone!

Those cards are the cutest! I have never seen the santa done with a handprint. Thanks for the idea. I want to at least create a picture with Baby Boo.
Hope they are both feeling better.
Lovely colors and how about a handmade envelope?
