Bits and Pieces

THIS is why I want to just lie on my bed and never get up. This blanket is the softest, coziest one ever. It’s actually not thick at all; very light, in fact. I’m not exactly sure what material it’s made of (the labels are in some Chinese characters that I couldn't read). It’s 100% something… fleece? And um, the animal print? I did not really have a choice. They only come in animal prints: tiger, zebra, and leopard.

Josh and Zoë love playing with the blanket and pretending that they’re tigers. I am thinking of getting the leopard and the zebra ones, too. In fact, I am getting changed as soon as I post this! The leopard one will go well with one of Zoë’s footed pj’s.

I did not know that Costa Rica is now part of Southeast Asia! Since when? Someone needs to take geography lessons at Google News…

I both love and hate days like today. I love the stay-in-bed weather. I love the excuse to just curl up in bed and read. I don’t like it that I can’t really indulge when there are errands to run, posts to write, photos to edit, real work to do, a party to plan. Which reminds me that I have done zip beyond sending out the invites to Josh’s birthday party! Yikes.

Oh, I wish I could just lounge around whenever I wanted! If my kids were in public school then I probably would!!!

That blanket is so cute! Love that print!

That blanket is looking really good about now. It's snowing here and with the wind chill, the temp is below zero. Brrr. And my poor husband is out working in it. :(

And actually, Costa Rica sounds pretty darn good right now too!

I'd be snuggling up in the blankie too. It really does look warm.

Are your parents still visiting?

That blanket does look cozy!! Today is definitely one of those "stay in bed" kind of days here too but I'm not afforded that luxury either! Darn life keeps getting in the way of that plan!!

Today was one of those mornings too...all I wanted was to just stay under the blankets.

No, layin' in bed on the Ponderosa, the cows would revolt!

I love curling up in my warm blankie by the fireplace at night.

Thanks for the geography lesson, too funny.

God bless and have a fabulous lazy day!!!

Oh my gosh Caitlyn would LOVE that blanket!! For Christmas she received a zebra bed set and I found a zebra valance on Ebay and a zebra light switch cover. She is obsessed with zebra print haha.
