This is going to be one of our favorite dinner dishes: Butter Chicken (recipe from Tasty Kitchen). I just made a bit of modification to the recipe to suit our family’s needs. I omitted the cayenne pepper, added a dash of paprika, no cardamom (because I couldn’t find any!), and I used fresh coriander to marinate instead of powder coriander. I also added button mushrooms to the mix and I added turmeric to make the basmati rice yellow.
I absolutely loved it and I’ll definitely be making this again. I seem to love creamy chicken dishes –see our other favorite chicken dish here. You can tell I tend to try different variations of things that I love. In this case, it seems like I just varied the colors of the chicken, but I swear the creamy basil chicken tastes very different from this butter chicken recipe.
Go on! Try one –or both! –of these recipes. I promise, you will not regret it.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
