An Apple a Day

It used to be that we had to peel the apples and then cut them into slices or chunks, because that was the only way they would eat apples. Josh used to make us peel everything –even grapes!

I’m so glad that we can now go out with whole apples –no more peeling, no more cutting or slicing, no more packing them in a snack container. We just wash the apples (and/or pears, grapes) and put them in a Ziploc bag and we’re ready to go.
Do you like your apples peeled?

I remember those days even peeling and cutting grapes. Thank goodness we're past that although for some food still cannot touch and must be kept in separate parts of the plate.

Oh yes, I have prefabricated veneers on my front teeth, makes biting into the skins on apples a challenge so yes, I peel mine first, No, actually my hubby peels them for me :)

My 19 year old son, home from college, was so happy when I said I'd slice his apples the other day.

I can sure see how those two cuties are the apple of your eye! Great pictures and it's so good when ya don't have to peel everything. Your babes are growin'!

God bless and have a wonderful day!!!

I love my apples peeled, but usually don't bother to peel them!

I don't peel the fruit's skin as that's where the most nutrients are. My eldest daughter eats anything but my little one is a picky eater. She would just eat around the skin and hand me back the skin when she's done.

I am so glad you posted this... because until this moment I thought we were the only ones who had to peel grapes. Thankfully, we no longer have to do this, but we ARE still peeling the apples.

All the good stuff is in the peel. I love it...and I'm working on getting the girls to also. So far....it's not working.

Baby Boo has finally learned the art of biting into her apples with the peelings. She does need the first bite out for her and then after that, she's good to go!

You peeled his grapes? Really??

They are really loving those apples!

The kids eating the apples are so adorable!! Only one of my kids insists on me peeling off the skin on apples. The other kids used to also but then I convinced them that the skin of the apple is what makes them taller.

I don't have to peel apples, but I do have to slice them up!

Don't cha love it when life gets a bit simpler? Ahhhh!

Those sweet babies of yours look so cute in that lush garden eating their juicy apples. You are lucky that they like apples. Our granddaughter will eat just about any fruit, but our grandson won't look at them! Hopefully his tastes will change!

Me? I love apples any way I can get them especially when they are crisp and juicy!

I like my apple peeled too. Your kids are so deliciously cute. I can't really take the sweetness. Seriously. can't take it!

I like them cut up...because the skin always gets jammed between my teeth. ;-) (I don't peel them, though!)

Sometimes I eat the whole apple, including skin, core and seeds.
