Okay, officially, this is the first time I’m joining Fix-It Friday with CS4! I am playing around with Actions and am loving it! I can’t decide which one I like best and if I have the time, I’ll probably try each and every one!

Fix-It #1 – Took as much as the dark shadows away from under the eyes as possible, removed traces of snowflakes on hat and hair, Surface Blur, Smart Sharpen, Cropped, Curves + PW’s Colorize action
Fix-It #2 – All of the #1, except Colorize, + PW’s 70’s action
Fix-It #3 – All of #2, except 70’s action, + PW’s Lovely & Ethereal action
Fix-It #4 – All of #2, except 70’s action, + PW’s Soft & Faded action
Fix-It #5 – All of #2, except 70’s action, + PW’s B&W action / adjusted opacity

great edits...i like the 1, 2 & 4 edits too....i've always love the roses & cream portraits (at least that's what they remind me of)

#3 is my favorite. It's amazing what technology can do now. I see how magazines enhances their models pictures. Makes the eyes and skin tone look so much better.
I like three because her skin tone is really warm and the colors are brilliant. But, I also like 4 for the softness and how it blends.

Lovely job! My fave's are 1&4...there's wonderful light without losing warmth or overdoing the saturation. Gotta go 'get me some action' installed ;D

to get bokeh...now don't quote me...but i just shoot into the light...if you check your background you should see sunlight hitting either grass or trees...whatever's back there...that will turn into bokeh when out of focus. a p&s will never get the same bokeh as a dsl.
how were you editing your photos before using the CS4?
