Random… Very Random

I’m trying to get this post out as fast as I can. Since Tuesday night, since our wireless router went bonkers, I’d been turning my laptop on and off in the silly hope that magically I would get some connection. I’d been wringing my hands, suffering withdrawal symptoms, y’all. Well, magically, I was somehow lucky enough to get a connection through an unsecured network for a few hours a night for the past two nights. Hopefully, Chris can fix the problem when he comes back from his trip…

In the meantime, I’d been playing around with Photoshop, trying to familiarize myself with all its different tools and functions. It’s lots of fun, but takes a LOT of time. My first exercise using Photoshop –see pic above. I thought I’d take out the clutter from the background. Far from professional for sure, but I’m happy that I could extract the image I want and make a textured backdrop. Yay!

Zoë has a new dollhouse! We just set it up last night and we haven’t even opened up the Family Packs that came with it. But she’s so excited and had already spent hours playing with it. She even brought her toy panda over and said, “Panda, look at my dollhouse! You can only look, but don’t touch, okay?” I will do a proper write-up about it soon, because it really deserves a post of its own. Those of you in Hong Kong -- This dollhouse and all its accessories are at 50% off at Stepping Stones (13/F, Park Avenue Tower - #5 Moreton Terrace, Causeway Bay / Tel: 2559-9734) and at Wing On Net.

Okay, I better end here and post it before I lose the connection again… Have a great weekend!

She looks so happy with her dollhouse. That's cute that she told Panda not to touch. Baby Boo will show the puppies her things and say the same thing, "Don't touch my 'puter."

What a deal!!!

When I looked at that picture I was thinking how mega impressed I was about the background you put in there. I have NO idea how to do that. I am a photoshop loser for sure! : )

Yea for new dollhouses!!!

Hey, I've been trawling YouTube, looking for Cantonese language cartoons for BBJ to watch. Do you know what cartoons are "hot" with the pre-school girl set right now in HK???

I was so happy that I did not give away my elder girl's doll house. It is such a great toy and I like it so much. I keep scrolling up to have a closer look at the picture.
