Mother’s Day Card

I was looking through Josh’s Student Handbook and out fell a card. He immediately rushed over and told me, “It’s for you, Mommy. I made it.”

He told me that he and D were the only ones in his class to make the cards and that the teachers did not have to help them with spelling (obviously!). That rainbow of hearts on the right? He added that here at home after I’d seen the card. He said that it’s a really special rainbow. I could see that. Josh is really sweet like that… He lights up my world in many, many ways.

Aw. The days of handmade cards. And your blog will help you remember these days so much more than I remember when my kids were small. Wonderful.

That rainbow card is the sweetest thing ever. I can't imagine now how I made it 40 years without experiencing motherhood...such a beautiful thing.
Happy Mother's Day!

What a sweetie :) These handmade things from the kids are simply priceless. I still have my son's school made Mother's Day cards from 10 years ago. I always tease him on his 'artistic' skills when he was a kid.
