My Other “Husband”

When I first saw this at the store, I wanted one. When I found out that it’s called a “husband,” I wanted one even more. How cool would it be to have two husbands, with each filling a different need? Heh.

A husband pillow is basically a large, high-backed pillow with two "arms." It is portable and can be used to prop the user upright while in bed or on the floor. Perfect for reading or watching TV. I love the back support I get; so much better than regular pillows for propping one upright.

We don’t exactly have a cozy corner per se in the house, but with the husband pillow, my cozy corner could be anywhere I choose to plop down my husband –by the window seat, on the bed, on the floor...

I love both my husbands! *grin*

Check out other cozy corners over at Communal Global. Share with us what your cozy corner is like and link up.

I use my boppy pillow for back support and it's flat as a board! The husband pillow looks comfortable..

I had one of those in college! Never heard it referred to as a "husband pillow" before! That is too funny!

Looks very comfy! We don't have a cozy corner in the house but every one seems to love lying on the living room floor with their own pillows when watching TV.

Happy Tuesday!!

My mom use to have a pillow like that. It is great for when you are not feeling good and are stuffed up to help you sleep. Miss Animal Rights is having a hard time sleeping due to her cold and I was thinking about my mom's armed cushion as we called it, and then I see this blog. not 5 minutes later! .. Crazy!

My mom had one of those, years ago. I wonder what she did with it? I didn't know they were called husband pillows. It looks like I need to go in search of one. I could use it in bed while I read.

Hmmm. A husband pillow? That was cute. Thanks for the interesting take on husbands....

I love the idea of a husband pillow! It won't snore and it won't hog my side of the bed like my real husband does!

Beautiful picture of your sweet little one too!

Best wishes,
Natasha.

I used to have one of those too, without the helpful handle on the top. What a memory, but it didn't have a name back then. Your little girl looks like a princess, relaxing on her throne.

It looks like you might need two.

I have not seen one of those in a long time! I need to find a couple..LOL!!!

Ugh, I didn't have anything prepared for this weeks theme, so I totally winged it with another meme. I looked through my FB pics to find something/anything with yellow!

I need a "husband"!! Look at your little princess sitting there reading...too cute. Our "orchard" contains apples, lemons. limes, grapefruit, cherries, passion fruit and mandarins!

My grandmother had at least one when I was growing up.....but I've never heard it called a "husband" pillow! Have you seen the "boyfriend" pillows? It's basically a man's dress shirt...stuffed. Hehe

I love those things, too.

I have another husband, too! *grin* Mine is a pale yellow corduroy. I've had it since college and just love it, but the husband doesn't care for it. He says it's because the thing is old and ratty looking, but I believe it's REALLY because he's jealous.

Nifty, although I'm not sure my hubby would be so thrilled to share his pride of place ;-)
