We’ve been having wonderful, perfect weather of late and we decided to take the kids to the beach. We went to White Pine Beach in Port Moody. We got a bit lost following the directional signs (go figure!), but we eventually did manage to get there.
I wish we have beaches like these in Hong Kong. The pine trees, the picnic tables, the cool, fresh air… It was sunny, but the wind was cool and refreshing.
The kids had tons of fun playing in the sand, digging away, building sandcastles, scooping water, running around.

I wish we have beaches like that in San Francisco too! We have Ocean Beach which is gray and unattractive :(

Beautiful shots! I wish we had beaches like this in The Netherlands. Back home in Oregon we had beaches and lakes like this but watever water they have here is crammed with 500 people and nowhere to sit!

This looks like a great time - my niece attempted to make a sandcastle but I think it was quickly destroyed. I'm jealous of your sandcastle's awesomeness.

What a beautiful beach!
We had Aiyana's cousin over and it turned into their first sleep over together. She asked to spend the night and the excitement in the girls' eyes when I said "yes" was priceless. I was a little worried about bedtime, but we took them for a really long walk and they knocked out immediately after their heads hit the pillow! It was a fun filled day.

These pictures remind me of my childhood spent at the lake with my grandmother. It looks like the kids are having so much fun and building wonderful memories of their own to cherish when they are older.
