No, I don’t feel too guilty for breaking the rule in this instance. I just wanted some photos of Zoë having a fun time at the pool. I was taking photos of only Zoë and I made sure that there wasn’t anybody else in the shot. I was prepared to make this case and show all the photos to the lifeguard if they ask. I was not able to take photos of Josh, because he was at the main pool having his lessons and the lifeguards would definitely see me clicking away if I’d taken pictures there. Besides, there were there were too many other people around for me to get a clean shot of only Josh.
Zoë was just happy to frolic in the shallow end while waiting for her turn at lessons, although by the time her turn came around, she was having too much fun playing that she didn’t want to do her lessons!

Glad you broke the rules!!
Those captures are PRECIOUS!!!
Love her sweet face!
That little girl is just so adorable.
Oh goodness she is just adorable!! Do you have a lot of movie stars or people under the witness protections program at your clubhouse ;o).....I kid I kid!!!
Like always great shots!
A while ago you posted a really cool pic of a polar bear in the birds nest. You mentioned that you were taking a class. Was it an online course? I’m looking to take a few Photoshop and photography courses. I know there are a few people that teach them through an online program but I have not come across any. My other option was heading down to our local community college. I know they offer them as well.

Cute photos! I'm sure you'll be glad you took them when she's older!

Great shots you managed with a point and shoot! I'm learning that our pool has that lame rule too. I still take my camera though. Haha.
I so would have snuck those shots, too!! (Btw, get the T2i and you'll be happy!)
Well, those sweet shots were worth getting caught. How can you not grab a pic of your kid looking that cute!
:)
What a cutie! I'm glad you stole 'em!
Kendra - No, it wasn`t an online course. I actually signed up for a class at one of the local centers here. My SIL signed up for an online course, but I will have to ask her and get back to you which one it was she signed up for.
She looks SO so SO so SO happy! I am glad you broke the rule. I am a huge rule breaker myself : )
gorgeous photos and totally worth getting in trouble for...
She looks adorable. I thought I was the only one snapping secret shots. When I go into a store and I want a pic. I always feel like I'm sneaking.
Awwww, who's to argue with that cute little face? She is only little for a moment....so of course you want pictures of her in the pool. That's great that they are both taking lessons.
Those pictures are well worth the risks. I wonder, had you asked the lifeguards, do you suppose they would allow you to take the pictures provided that you show to them you only took shots of your daughter? My lil girl is supposed to take swimming lessons this summer too. But it's still cold in SF. I hope we will get at least a few weeks of warm summer weather over here.
aww look at her - so relaxed and carefree and yes! totally CUTE! miss josh's pics tho. :( always a next time. ;)
i didn't take my camera to the clubhouse fearing for the same policy but found out that another woman was taking pics of her twins so i told helper to take pics of us in the pool with her phone. ;) it wasn't of good quality but i still wanted to keep them as a fond memory of "ash's 1st time in the pool". :)

Those were totally worth sneaking for!!!! She is the cutest! How could they not think that parents would want photos of their kids enjoying water play? Not fair!
I would've done the same thing. :)
Ooh, that pool looks beautiful-so does the little one!
Those are great sneaky captures. She looks so happy!
LOL, that is something I would totally do too!!!!! The pictures came out so good, too!!! What a cutie she is!!!!
Haha, oh you're so sneaky :)
About the camera: definitely go with the Canon...I'm a little biased :)
What a crazy rule??? Why no cams allowed?? I too would be breaking rules. Your pics are so good, I thought you had a professional cam!!!
Splendid pics. I love kids and water. Either together or separate. Wonderful post. Thanks!
That you had to break the rules to get these shots make them even sweeter... hope the pool security manager doesn't read your blog ;-P
I love the pictures, definitely worth breaking the rules for! She is too cute!
You had to break the rules to capture those...beautiful!
