Side note: I know, I know. I’ve been talking about getting a new camera, but I can’t bring myself to take the plunge yet. Still hemming and hawing over the size and bulk of DSLR’s. But I recently learned that Sony has come out with their NEX-3 and NEX-5, which are small in size, comparable with point-and-shoots, but with interchangeable lenses just like DSLR’s. Now, I’ll have to do more research on this and try to read more reviews before I finally decide.

Beautiful! The other day my middle daughter Violet (who's favorite color is ALSO purple lol) picked out a pair of brown Converse that she had.to.have. We were at Goodwill so I obliged. Good luck with the camera decision. My camera is bulky but I absolutely love it. I keep my handy point and shoot with me in my bag all the time. Take care!

I just took the plunge with a Canon 7D....make that a HUGE plunge! Since I'm trying to start a business, it was justified by hubby--I'll be working to help expand his videography business. I'm just learning EVERYTHING so your pics are a great inspiration!
