I don't know what it is, but a light blotch showed up in your edits just to the left of his head and that's the first place my eye goes, unfortunately.
My crop is very similar to yours, and I also added and was very happy with it in B&W.
Oh those big bright blues stole my hear in them all but my favorite fix is #3. Great job as usual.
