Beach Trip #1 | St. Stephen’s Beach

Easter Monday turned out to be a perfect day.  Sunny, but not too hot.  We went to the beach with our friends and their two girls.  The water was still a bit too cold for my liking.

But the kids did not mind at all.

This time, we did not get as many clams as we did the last time.  Instead, we got seaweed.

Seaweeds make pretty bracelets.  One little girl thought so.

Our friends brought along a pretty body board.

Josh and B got rides up and down the beach.

What a life.  Chatting away as somebody else hauls you around.

Josh did his share of pulling.

Zoë did, too.  Well, she tried.

She then decided to water the sand instead.  Much easier.

It was a wonderful day. bzj-beach

We will be back again.  Soon, I hope!zoe-beach2

Wow, looks like a fantastic day in every way - and great, great pics! :-)

What beautiful pictures of a fun filled beach day. Your beaches are so different than the ones here. You have lovely mountains to gaze upon and the grains of sand are so much larger than ours. We have flat land that last forever and tiny, salt size sand.

Love the one where she's kicking! Dry seaweed isn't nearly so bad as slimy, wet seaweed!

Such fun photos! It's funny how kids can stand the water colder than adults. I guess they have so much fun they don't notice! I enjoyed getting to see photos from your beach day!

Lovely moments :) they certainly didn't seem to mind the cold water. Zoe's little swimming suit is so pretty.

Looks like a great day!! I grew up in a beach town and loved boogie boarding - so much fun! Super jealous that its warm enough for you to be swimming! It's finally more Spring-like in Boston - at least warm enough to go kayaking on the river, but not swim in it!

Have a super weekend!

Awesome use of composition to frame the focal points (I swear, you always impress). Gorgeous images, every one. Makes me wish the beach were closer. The off season is the best time to enjoy it.
