On Zoë’s bed… her unicorn and a book. Those stickers on the side of her bed? We have those everywhere around the house –on our walls, the cabinets, even on one of the Balinese art that we have hanging on our wall (!). E.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e. Our whole house is one sticker album.
3. Something Tiny
Last time we were at my friend’s place, Zoë didn’t catch any tadpoles. She didn’t want to put her hand in the water. Today, during our visit, she wanted to give it another go… and she caught one! All by herself, with no help. {We put the tadpole back into the pond after we took some pictures.}

You know they are growing up when the fears they used to have don't exist anymore. The picture of Josh sparring with the clown is adorable.
How fun, my boys loved to go tadpole hunting. We put them in a tank to watch them transform into frogs. But that's when I insisted we put them back in the pond.
That last picture is my favorite! Love his pose!

Your high key capture really has a lot of character. I really enjoy it and your bedroom picture is sweet. My daughters also love taking down their wall stickers and putting them wherever. I love your last photo as well. He seems to have the perfect pose, plus I love the opposites of the fun loving clown and the serious child.

To answer you question on my blog, yep, that's what it means in Japanese too. But it's a special ceremony they have for little girls at 3, 5, and 7 years old, where they wear traditional kimonos. My mother-in-law just sent N. her first silk kimono is it's just so pretty.

I know I say it every time...but, wow...beautiful photos! I just sat transfixed by your header (which I love, btw), and then scrolled down through your gorgeous Scavenger Hunt collection. You have some serious talent, my friend! Yay, Zoë, for being brave and showing that girls can do it, too!... yay, Josh, for being a sweet Boy with a capital B! And, that 'distance' photo took my breath away...LOVE the composition, and the texture adds the perfect amount of interest :D
