Scavenger Hunt Sunday | Motion

1. In Fashion -  Chris was looking to buy new runners and while he was getting fitted, I browsed and saw these.   I’ve seen many people wear these…  cool or not?

In-fashion

2.  Waiting to Click – At Ocean Park, we were waiting to take a photo of Josh and Zoë with this clown… and here he was, posing with another family, literally waiting for the camera to click, while we waited for our turn with him.

Waiting-to-Click

3.  Motion – I was thinking of running down to the stadium and trying to catch some shots of runners or going down to the soccer pitch to maybe get some action shots.  Obviously, I did not do either.  Instead I have this.  Lame, I know.

Motion

4.  Animal’s Perspective -  We’re probably meant to shoot from a high angle (bird’s-eye view) or from a very low one (close to the ground).  I took the liberty to interpret this a little differently.  This is a scarecrow at my friend’s farm.   From the birds’ perspective, this might as well be a real person.  {A 6-year old boy “donated” an old shirt and a pair of old jeans to make this guy.  So sweet.}

Animal's-perspective

5.  Many – Another shot from the same sports shop where Chris bought his runners.  I’m surprised I didn’t get told off for taking pictures.

Many

I am never disappointed when I come to your blog. Always so interesting and colorful! I got asked not to take photos in a store once. I wanted to cry from embarrassment.

That clown photo jumped from the linky at me. Fantastic shot. I always enjoy seeing the images you post-Me thinks those trendy sneakers (runners?) will scratch very soon-fashionable yes, practical or $$ well spent-no. I also like your many shot. Cool subject.

I liked your shoe shots. Oddly enough in art class this week the project was drawing shoes LOL
I didn't realize they were so interesting until I had to draw a few of them.

You always have such beautiful, colorful shots that I am always drawn to them while scanning through blog posts on my google reader.

This week, I really love the scarecrow shot. Primarily, because it gave me a good laugh in remembering time in my granny's garden as a child.

I am always so amazed and the stunning color in all of your pictures. I gotta admit, it makes me a little jealous how well you seem to grab such vivid color and still make it so real.

Loving all the bright kicks and the clown shot is three shades of awesome.

These are terrific! You see art and beauty in so many things my eyes would pass over and capture it for me to see. Thank you! I love the many shoes shot and all the others, but I would never wear those first shoes in fashion or not.

Those shoes happen to be in, with my teenage kids, that is! What a realistic scarecrow; are you sure it is meant for birds or other nasties??
