Steam-y Art

Zoë loves writing little notes for us.  She’d usually make us her “Love Day” cards, where she’ll draw a picture of herself and of us and then write “I love you, from Zoë” on the paper.  {She can write that with no help now.  From writing it so many times, with all the Love Day cards she loves to make!}

Sometimes she’ll add a couple of hearts and flowers.  Lately, she’d add butterflies, too.

The other night, after her shower, she called out to me to hurry and look.

This was what greeted me when I got to the bathroom.

Steamy
“Zoe from dad mom”
{Chris was the one who crossed out the “from” and wrote the “for.”}
{Yes, she had to climb onto the sink counter to draw that.}

Zoë said that that’s a drawing of me. She made sure that I noticed that she drew my earrings, too!  Could I love this little girl any more than I already do?  I can’t believe that she’ll be 4 next week.  I want her to stay my cuddly, snuggly, sweet little girl a bit longer.

Your little Zoe is gorgeous and I can't believe how sweet these notes are. Our daughters definitely know how to get us.

That is just so wonderful! I love to get messages like this from my sons too, they were also early writers and readers and enjoyed writing love notes from the beginning. :-)

I´m so glad that you documented this - imagine how sweet it will be to look at in the future! :-)

I spotted the earrings and the big smile right off the bat. Do you have curly hair too or is Zoe making some style suggestions?

She is truly beautiful and growing into an amazing little girl. God bless.
