Don’t you find that kids say the cutest things? Sometimes it’s all I could do not to go bwahahaha in their faces at the stuff that they say. Sometimes they sound like they’re 62 years old. Sometimes I just marvel at their logic. Sometimes I just pull them in and give them a big squeeze and bury my face in their sweaty sweet-smelling hair to hide my amusement. {If Zoë so much as suspects that I’m laughing at her, she would look at me sternly and demand that I not laugh --“That’s not funny, Mommy!”}
Josh:
I wish I lived in the olden times.
Because then I won’t have to learn so much history!
{Mind you, Josh doesn’t even have History as a subject in school yet!}

Zoë cheering Josh on while he was playing Wii:
I’m going to keep my hands crossed for you, KoKo.

How Zoë says / used to say them:
Cityplaza = Sillyplaza
Pumpkin = Pungkin
Oatmeal = Oatmilk
Cupcake = Popcake

Zoë on why I need to give her some ice cream:
The sun is shining on my hair.

Josh, on why he “needs” to eat some chips:
I’ve already had healthy food three days in a row!

Have a blessed day sweetie!
I'm always laughing at what my kids say too. Just now my daughter yelled out "Another shower?? Why do I need to take another shower I just took one two days in a row?". Love your pics today. Your daughter is so beautiful. Looks like she loves to dance at all times.

Josh is pretty smart!! I never thought of it that way before! Zoe is too, too, too cute!! Love that 4th picture of her.
I think I'll use Josh's excuse when I want to eat ice cream instead of dinner.
Every fourth day I'll eat ice cream since I've been eating healthy foods for the three. :)
Precious, precious!!! I love the olden times comment, and the sunshine one too. These are priceless; it's so wonderful that you've captured them, and with such beautiful photos too!
Hugs!
Love little kid speak...it is something I really miss now that my girls are older.
it is hard to argue with their logic, after 3 days of healthy food he could perish LOL. I had trouble saying pumpkin ( still do) and shoulder.
Oh these are so sweet! I love that Josh wants to live in olden times - that's so brilliant! haha!

Hilarious!! I love the excuse for some chips, that's a pretty good defense, mom (-:
Beautiful captures and the words made me smile big! I used to work in a nursery school and could fill a book with what comes out of the little ones! Adorable.
Those are some really clever comments! Love the shots of your twirling girl.

ha ha - your son and my son have the same reasoning!!
I'm smiling form ear to ear over here. Your kids are adorable (and you know just how to take photographs of them to melt our hearts). Love the reasoning on food. After all, I'm sure they were right - the sun must have been shining on her hair, and three days of healthy food? The boy deserved some change. :)
My little one comes out with some gems once in a while. I was putting her hair up and she said "I look so pretty" to which I responded with "yes, yes you do." She looked at me with my hair down and said "you don't look so pretty mama." Hahaha, thanks for the honesty kid.
#2 hates when I laugh too. But, he should stop being so funny then!
Adorable!!!
Love your black and whites!
OH MY GOSH! I am SOOOOOOO glad that i found your blog on the Wordless Wednesday hop. You take such wonderful pictures, and share with your heart. I LOVE IT!!! :)
Absolutely adorable...I think your kids are smarter than you think! I love what your daughter said about the sun shining on her hair and what your son said about how he's eaten healthy foods three days in a row. See? They're definitely on to something!
they are so endearing and hilarious! i love the history one, haha!
They are so, so beautiful, B'Mama!
Oh the things they say- so funny. I have started blogging certain things like that too- because I don't want to forget them. Beautiful captures as always- they are so cute.
The pictures are beautiful. It is wonderful to document those little sayings. Lately, Chloe clothes bathing suits, baby soups.
Hehe...I LOVE all the pretend words!!! Ming Wai used to call backpacks "packbacks", and it just made me grin.
Great thinkers those kiddos of yours :) ~ just LOVE their logic!
The photos are gorgeous too :-)
