She took out Julia Donaldson’s The Gruffalo. We have this same book at home and she loves it.

I have never heard of the gruffalo, but maybe I will look into it and end of hearting it! Zoe certainly looks like she is enjoying it. our current favorites are Animalia, Uno's Garden, Little Pea and The Giving Tree.
There are so many, but right now I still love Stellaluna. Sam got Pinduli from the Easter Bunny. :)
Sweet, sweet captures!

Sweet, sweet shots. I just love her smile!
N.'s favorites lately have been "The Giving Tree" and "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." She really loves "The Giving Tree." She even plays it out - we swtich, sometimes I'm the tree and she's the boy, sometimes it's the other way around.
I don't know this particular story but it looks like a good one!
Love these shots! You capture her beauty so well.
I like Where the Wild things Are : ) and all Beverly Cleary Books! Also love Junie B. Jones. Books make the world better! Zoe is ADORABLE as can be!

We love the Gruffalo!! 'A mouse took a stroll through the deep dark wood.
A fox saw the mouse and the mouse looked good...' hehe
We also love The Gobbling Tree, Wombat Stew and any Charlie and Lola books :)
These pictures are so sweet, I think I'll have to take my camera to the library next time! We go to story time and & craft every Thursday and I take William on a Monday too, but he just likes to run around, lol.
I love how natural these are...just capturing the joy of books!
We love, love, love Julia Donaldson! If you liked The Gruffalo check out Room on the Broom and The Spiffiest Giant in Town. I just love the way her books flow from my mouth and the girls love the repeating verses and will read out loud with me. Gorgeous shots, as always mama!
I'm a little behind on what's the latest in children's book, but I was a big fan of Dr. Seuss as a kid :) As for Zoe...does she ever not smile?! She's so adorable!
I've not heard of that book before. Zoe is so adorable and I love the clothes you dress her in :) As for my favorite books..I honestly can't remember. I do know as I got older I loved the books by Beverly Cleary. I also read The Box Car Children, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory..I love books..lol
How lovely. We'll have to check out that book. Lorelei loves a great book. She seems to be developing a taste for certain illustrations and subjects which is neat to see. Lovely photos today!
she is precious! that excitement for reading is so cute :)
I've never read this book, but now I want to get it for my nieces if it's a favorite in your household! I love The Giving Tree. And anything by Sandra Boynton!
Beautiful photos, in what I imagine was not the best of light in the library. Right now my four year old just loves Pinkalicious and Fancy Nancy. But I love the David Shannon and Mo Willems books, Gorgonzola and Diary of a Worm. We both love Pout Pout Fish - that is a lovely book too.
What beautiful photos of your little girl. I'm not familiar with The Gruffalo. My little one is consumed with Batman and Transformer books right now. My big girl just finished reading 8 books over her spring vacation. I think she's really enjoying author Judy Blume and her Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing series. I'm just so happy they both enjoy reading. My hubby and I are lovers of anything literary.
I've never seen the Gruffalo, but I KNOW I heart the library!!!
Beautiful post!
Oh she is adorable. Her dress is so sweet! Beautiful photos. I love the library. Always have. :)
