Scavenger Hunt Sunday | Crossing Thresholds

1. Crossing Thresholds – Zoë’s first “painted nails.” They’re only {Hello Kitty} nail stickers, –no polish, –but I can’t help thinking that my baby’s not quite a baby anymore.

2. Pop of Color – Josh and I had a Mommy/Josh date today and when we came back, we decided to take a stroll around the waterfront, instead of going through the air-conditioned corridor.  He kindly held my bubble tea for me while I took some shots of people fishing and of old men relaxing on the benches.  We usually see lots of boats pass through the waters where we are, but hardly any boats would drop anchor and stop.  This one did.  It’s probably a boat that had been hired out for the day and the party wanted a dip before heading back.

3. Toy – One of our all-time favorites when the kids are out playing.  They blow bubbles and other kids crowd around them, chasing the bubbles, trying to pop them.  Such a joy to watch.

4.  Hidden – The purple flower Zoë’s holding partially hides her face.

5.  X-ray – I really didn’t know what to do for this one, so I just tried to replicate the colors of an x-ray film.  This is one of those orbs that rotate, with water flowing down the sides.  People usually have these in their homes or shops for feng shui reasons.
