Being Thankful {Day 5 of 5}

This is the last post for my Thankfulness Challenge, but I might just pop up a gratitude post now and then.  It feels so great writing up these posts.  Thinking of what to include in my lists always makes me feel wonderful and ever so grateful for all the blessings, big and small, in my life.

1- I am thankful that the kids have both finished their Mandarin homework.  Whew.

2- I am thankful for an afternoon down at the pool.  Warm sun and cool water –just perfect!   Zoë’s friend came down, too.  It was so relaxing to just soak and watch the kids, while we mommies chatted.

3- I am thankful for the community of mommies in my children’s school who help send out reminders about homework, special events, things to bring, when to book for parent-teacher consultations, etc.  It is so nice to have everyone be so supportive and so willing to lend a helping hand when needed.

Boy, if a flower or color could say Summer, this one certainly does. Support from mommy friends and groups is such a blessing.

Lovely. I like the way the green pops the yellow of the flower.

Gratitude brings joy - and what a lovely way to start my morning. Thank you for this positive post - with the simple and vibrant flower photo - so easy to find beauty everywhere and everyday. Love the pictures of your children on your About page . . . family life so full of smiles . . . easy to see the thankfulness.

Your flower and post put a smile on my face. I love the color of the flower and needed to be reminded to be grateful today, so much to be grateful for when I look. Thank you.

All wonderful things in which to be thankful! And I love the simple beauty of your single blossom. The color is luscious!

Lovely flower photo. Your post made me melancholy for when my kids were little. They're all grown adults now with kiddies of their own, but I do occasionally get to take my grandson to the pool. Sounds nice. :)
