Hopping Corn

We did this fun CO2 experiment with the kids.  Such a simple experiment, with very simple ingredients/tools needed.  The kids were fascinated.  Of course, they asked to do the same experiment using all the different food coloring we have!  I told them that we needed to save the food coloring for other fun experiments that we will be doing.  So if you know of any fun experiments from which you think the kids will learn and will enjoy doing, please do share! (We will be doing the Ivory soap experiment next.)

My favorite science lessons were those involving experiments - this sounds interesting and one I've never tried before. (can you be too old to do science projects at home? hope not!) Thanks for sharing.

The kids would have found this fun and interesting. I have done this using sultanas.
