A Piece of Hollywood

We have family visiting Hong Kong for the first time and I took them around a bit today.  It’s always great to go out and  play tourist.  It feels nice to look at familiar places with new eyes.

The photo below was taken while we were waiting to cross the street along Hollywood Road.

Here is the same image in color.  I can’t decide which one I like better.

I think B&W is perfect for street photography

Definitely Black and white, looks best in street photography (most of the times)

They're both so good I can see why you have trouble deciding.

I love both versions of this shot for different reasons. Each tells a story. I love playing tour guide too. I would always fall in love with Bangkok all over again when family came to visit.

It looks like the woman in the doorframe had a massage as she looks so relaxed. I like the b & w one better.

Both.... I like both captures. Indeed the Black and white is a special atmosphere, but the coloured one photo too.
Wis you a very good week.

B/W - it lets a very busy content speak and not drowned out by the color. Excellent!

Black and White! Love street scenes!

It is tricky but I think I like the colour one better, there is just something a little bit more 'alive' about it

I agree, it's fun to be the tour guide once in a while! Great shot--love both versions.
