Waiting for Winter

It's now December and I can still go out wearing sleeveless tops.  The temps are still in the low 20's. Somehow it doesn't feel like winter yet.  At the rate this is going, there's a big possibility that we might go through this winter without me having to pull out our winter stuff!  I haven't decided yet whether I'm thrilled about this.

Are you in seeing / feeling winter yet?

Wow! That's so warm. We're now well into frigid temps - hats, gloves, the works. We had snow yesterday and may not crack the freezing mark this weekend!

I don't usually pull out anything close to wintery during winter here but I completely 'get' the wish to to at least make it seem like the right season. We joke about turning the air con on, way down low and making it seem like winter for a day, sometimes.
We have hit Summer here and I can't say I'm liking it that much, although it is fairly mild so far.

I know what you mean! Our last winter was pretty much a no-show and the garden thought it was spring for 5 months!

Beautiful Bloom. We too had a mild fall but winter has arrived. 20F and light snow on the ground this morning.

Judging from your photo, it doesn't look like winter is arriving anytime soon. Like when you do not even have to buy winter clothes because the cold never arrives. #PhotoFriday
